Growing in a pristine environment

We cultivate an 8-hectare (about 20 acres) agricultural land located in the upper Chiampo Valley at an altitude over 700 meters (2300 ft) above sea level.
It is here, in a pure and uncontaminated environment surrounded by woods and meadows, far from busy roads and sources of pollution, that we grow our crops and raise our animals.
Even the water that we use for irrigation comes from a fresh and pure spring directly from our land.

Our commitment to sustainable agriculture

We do not use any herbicides or pesticides. We fertilize our crops with 100% natural compost and manure. We have a deep regard for our soil and always respect it through the use of crop rotation and cover crops.

We feel that we are the custodians of this land and, as such, we have been entrusted to keep it pure.

With this spirit, we have held the ICEA Organic Certification since 2014; as a testament and guarantee of our commitment to healthy and sustainable agriculture.

Authentic flavours from our land

Our volcanic soils, rich in minerals, combined with the temperature variations of the high hill climate, give our agricultural products intense and decisive flavours. All our products represent the backbone of our cuisine, ensuring a constant supply, without waste and always in harmony with the seasons. Some of them are also available for direct sale at our farm.

What we grow

  • Mountain potatoes
  • Maranello Corn, ideal for polenta, cornmeal, and corn thins
